Personal - Born in September 1961, Santa Rosa Ca. I moved to Nevada after graduating high school and have been a resident of Washoe County for over 30 years.  I have been married 20 years to my wife Sheri, a Registered Nurse at Renown and a native Nevadan. I have 2 sons, Ethan an 8^th grader and Evan a 4^th grader . 

Education - Graduated from Portola High School, Portola CA.  Truckee Meadows Community College, Reno, NV. – Associate in Applied Science/Criminal Justice.

Professional- Enjoyed a fulfilling career in Law Enforcement that spanned 23 years. I was able to experience many aspects of law enforcement by working for Sparks Police Dept., Washoe County Sheriff’s Office and finally retiring in July 2011 as Deputy Chief of Police from the Washoe County School District Police Department.
